VSG’s discontinuous alumina fibers are short-form, high-temperature ceramic fibers engineered for applications where flexibility in form and installation matter as much as thermal performance.
These fibers are fully polycrystalline in structure, offering stable performance in oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing atmospheres without special atmospheric protection. They exhibit strong resistance to thermal cycling, acid and alkali corrosion, and maintain structural integrity at classification temperatures up to 1600°C.
