Chopped Fiber
Untwisted roving can be cut into specific lengths of chopped fibers. When mixed with substrates, they can significantly enhance the mechanical and thermal properties of metal, polymer, and ceramic-based composite materials, improve interlaminar shear strength, and enhance the overall performance and reliability of composite materials. The production process ensures that chopped fibers require no organic binders. They are utilized in the manufacturing of astronaut protective suits, forest firefighter clothing, forest fire tents, heat insulation, and shock-absorbing cushions for honeycomb catalyst converters, among other applications. They are shot-free, non-dispersive, suitable for large-scale production, and easy to handle.
