Alumina Fiber Woven Tape

Vulcan Shield Global’s alumina fiber woven tape is designed to meet the most demanding thermal, mechanical, and electrical performance requirements. These fabrics surpass many limitations of other high-temperature textiles such as aramid, carbon, quartz, or glass.

Vulcan Shield Global’s aluminum oxide fiber woven tape is made from high-strength continuous alumina fibers. Because the filaments are continuous and robust, these textiles can be produced without the need for other fibers or metal wire insertions. They maintain continuous use temperatures around 1200°C and have excellent resistance to molten metal corrosion. They are suitable for thermal insulation, sealing, electrical insulation, sound absorption, and filtration in high-temperature environments.
